A Hemicrania Episode

What was once a sanctified day (FRIDAY) for me, started on a mixed note and so far ending on a sour state. All because I’m having (yes, present tense, but milder now) ANOTHER migraine attack, the story of my life. The cyclicity of my migraines all commenced in July 2004 after having separated from a relationship that survived 3 years, or by my standards, a lifetime.
After exhausting supererogatory moolahs on prevention drugs and remedies, I still can’t suppress the level of scathe ONE attack can incur. Believe me, losing the ability to see and also numbness on various parts of the body is not something you look forward to. Manifestly, I have been doomed with this maledict for the rest my lifetime – as the medical specialist arrogated.
Is is just me or does this appear like it’s the fastest week of the year? Talk about flybys. Cue 2006.
I’m supposed to watch Harry Potter tonight in KLCC. Not sure why I bothered in the first place, as I’m not potty over Potter. I’m just going for the special effects. Yes, I’m a effectoholic. Special effects bequeaths me in a state of veneration. The most salutary special effects I’ve seen this year has got to be the War of the Worlds. Talk about naturalism.
And later, a “spiritual” sojourn beckons in the form of Carnegie’s for a pint of Hoegaarden, to me, the most defining beer known to man. What’s with Belgians and beers and chocolates?
The movie that I’m looking forward to this year is KING KONG. It’s expected to be a movie of ginormous symmetries *pun intended*. Until the next ca-calogy, have a great weekend!
