Although it’s a Tuesday, it feels like a Monday to me. Everything’s in slow motion, despite the fact that I have work to do. I’m looking forward to watching a giant ape taking on dinosaurs and New York city in a 3-hour battle of Marathon this weekend.

My schedule’s pretty much swamped this week – Tues gym, Thur gym, Fri company annual dinner, Sat gym. That’s the plan.

I’m currently listening to 3 new albums that I downloaded over the weekend, Bo Bice, Scott Stapp (ex-Creed) and Fort Minor. Some good songs there, but nothing too memorable. I’m not a Bo Bice fan, but downloaded it anyway, and to my amazement, the dude is actually not a bad singer. Hahahaha! Also, one of his songs, was penned by Jon Bon Jovi (Nothing Without You). But I’m sure that’s not the main reason I downloaded the album. Fort Minor is a rap-cum-rock group in a much much lighter vein than Linkin Park. The rapper from Linkin Park is now fronting this band. Not too tatty I must say.

Macrocosm of Nature
I’ve always been a nature lover, particularly island surroundingses and cave expedition. I never liked Taman Negara simply because there’s no rational motive. When I do outdoor activities, I need a destination that I can reach and explore, otherwise, roosting in the jungle and staring at trees is not my idea of enjoyment. Guess I always desired to conquer Malaysia’s tallest peak, and with my biological clock ticking away, I feel it’s now or never. Would’ve preferred if I had a group of friends to locomote with me. Most of my peers are either too darn lazy or married with 6 kids. I am looking to go in May next year coupled with a holiday in KK – for a week. That’s the plan I’m aiming for, and hey, if it doesn’t work out for some unusual reason like company training in Costa Rica or something, at least I know that I am in physically fit.

The Strip Search Fiddle-Faddle
I think the drama with the strip squats is preposterous. There are much better ways to check for hidden stuff in the body. And also it MUST be done in complete privacy. The person who shot the video is unquestionably a cop who’s looking for a quick fix. I assume he forwarded the clip to his corneous friends. I reviewed the video and I came up with this deduction because the lady looked at the camera and didn’t flipped. She knew she was being recorded and I guess she went along with it because the dude may be a cop! What’s your take on this?

The “Perfect” Relationship
Perfection. Hmmmmm, you know, we are always in search of the perfect someone but do they really exist? Probably not because there are no perfect relationships.In a easier note, they say the ideal couple would be that of a blind wife and a deaf husband because a blind wife would not be able to see the faults of her husband and a deaf husband would not be able to hear the naggings of his wife! During courtship it often happens that a couple is abacinated by the murkiness of perfection, passion, thrill and romance which surrounds them and so even the biggest imperfections tend to become blurry. But ultimately when the deluge of romance has desiccated, relationships need nurturing. During trying times often we become disbelieving about our relationship but giving out a little of the good within us would make our partner grow as a person and plausibly help us to a degree in making that imperfect someone “perfect”. Makes sense or am I just talking in circles?

Multi-Level Marketing Mumbo Jumbo (MLM-MJ)
MLM. A lot of Malaysian seem to believe and get caught up in the hoopla. After attending a MLM gathering, people seem to be fired up like a pack of hungry dingos, ready to parachute through burning hoops and run through concrete walls! And then reality kicks in. You’re buying all of these products, but you’re really not selling a whole lot. Before I sign off, apparently a Penangite friendster named Fluffy informs me that dudes in Penang carry “the best looking men in Malaysia” tag. I am not aware of this. I think she got confused with “the most gay men in Malaysia” tag! Hahahahaha! Alrighty, I have already started my pursuit of a healthier lifestyle. Fitness Life, here I come!
