I felt like I was blazing up with fever, as the F1 circuit was flaming. I’ve caught up with Sahara Jacks and Suntan Sallys at the F1 track. They were basking under the sun, greasy with their head-phones on. We departed for Sepang just after 12:30pm, took a leisure drive, had luncheon at Dengkil R&R, and then locomoted into the K2 seating area 10 minutes before the race.

The vociferation that emanated from these F1 cars were simply awe- inspiring. Schuey began the race at 14th, (submarined 10 ranks cause of engine change) and landed up in 6th, some 44 seconds behind the winner Fisichella.

A convivial junket at the track doesn’t cost much boodle and you’re set for one hell of a race! We must be appreciative for hosting such an event as this year in and year out in Malaysia. Pity Alexander Yoong sucks bigtime. At least we could pep up our “home” team - the BMW Petronas.

The voyage in and out of the parking area was a doddle. It only took us 10 minutes to get into the parking area. And approx 30 minutes to get out. Also, we captured some good glimpses of planes getting off the ground (as the new LCC terminal @ KLIA is very close to the circuit). It was a sight to behold. And speaking of sights (see next paragraph);

After “smartagging” the KLIA toll to head over to Hartamas, we witnessed a horrifying sight - an aftermath of an accident. It looked like a motorcycle at first. I think it occurred approx 20 minutes before we got there. It was wedged in between the middle road divider. The car (or whatever left of it) was flattened like a “roti canai”. And I saw a remains in the driver seat. It was traumatizing, and the atmosphere in the car quickly shifted to sombreness. No one uttered a word for the next 30 minutes, I guess we were all thinking about how delicate life is and how we take things for granted. *SIGH* May his soul rest in peace.

Back to F1, Schumacher’s been my favorite driver since the mid-90s. Why? Cause he’s GERMAN. I’ve been in veneration with GERMAN mentality and engineering since 1990. Take a guess on which country I will be rooting for in the coming WORLD CUP. :-P Go on BALLACK!

On the way out of the F1 circuit, I discovered a peculiar endorsement. A police car was parked right in front of a truck that bore the name, “Crystal Ice”. Hmmm…go figure! LOL!

When the sun went down, the fever was still heating up, so we had to cool off by “darting” to Finnegan’s Sri Hartamas. I left at 10:30pm after having got there at 7pm. Still no alcohol for me. Boohoo. Though it was energy-sapping, the outing was memorable. This is my second F1 trip after March 2002. This race lacked controversies and clangors. We only witnessed ONE overtaking during the entire course of the race!

To end this entry on a high-octane, I will leave you with a couple of photos that is cardinal to men - CARS & BABES. LOL!

I got the radio blasting in my old man’s Chevrolet
I got a party in my pocket cause you know I just got paid
