Arsene Wenger unveiled a nutty signing for Arsenal last night, a squirrel named Scrat. Arsene applauded its debut performance for the Gunners, “He was quite fast and dribbling.” The runaway rodent was heartily welcomed by the Arsenal fans, with a chant of, “There’s only one squirrel”. I personally felt that its debut appearance was way better than that RAT on the pitch of Old Trafford, home of Manure Utd - where at times it was difficult to separate the RAT among the Manure players. LOL!The referee, who was not amused (uncanny resemblance to Queen of E), finally paused the game and Scrat the Squirrel impertinently bolts to safety behind an advertising billboard and exited the stadium to catch the tube to see ICE AGE 2 in London. Rumours are rife that Sky TV will be lining up a Squirrel-cam in the near future.
Conspirators suggests that the squirrel has purchased a posh flat in the new Highbury complex and has been given the wrong move-in date. Those bloody agents!
Arsenal 1 Villareal 0. Leg 2 will be played next Wednesday morning @ 2:45am, leaving me with very little sleep time in between to catch the Airasia flight to Bali on the same morning. But, knowing Airasia, it would probably be delayed for 3 hours (eversince Manure started advertising with them, their services became stinky).

LOL, that was an amazing post. I laughed out loud more than once while reading that…especially at Manure Utd!
It was a pretty good game, I did feel that we (Arsenal) should have created more chances though, and that Villareal did a pretty good job in the midfield and at the back. I got quite excited when Bergkamp and Van Persie came on, but I guess it was a bit too late to see any real sparks…Im a bit worried about the next leg. lets hope it goes well, I have faith in our boys!
