So far so good. Goodbye Spain. What a World Cup we’re having! 6 out of 7 WC winning nations are in the quarterfinals, barring Uruguay. Apart from England who looked apathetic, the footballing juggernauts seem to be having a good time here in Germany. The sturdiest match so far for the Germans, as it is with the Argentinians. Argentinians slightly edge this one in terms of quality. Still, I think Germany will go down fighting, so possibly another penalty shootout at the WC. Argentina/GermanyÂ
Italy vs Ukraine
The Ities survived a scare last time around against the Aussies as they were quite lucky to me in terms of THAT soft penalty. Nevertheless, without Nesta and Matterazzi, it’ll be tough for them in defence. Still, the Ukraines shouldn’t worry them too much in this game as the Aussies did. Italy
England vs Portugal
England, wow, playing some of their finest football in recent times, wow *YAWNS*, take on a decimated Portugal team, who will look ordinary without Deco and Ronaldo. The odds are on the English wankers to pull through. As they did in the last 4 games, they will bore the Portuguese to death and put half of the world’s footie buffs on the brink of switching allegiance to lawn bowl. Portugal

Brazil vs France
This to me is very mouthwatering tie indeed - 1998 final revisited. Brazil still not in full gear, as they just did enough against Ghana. The French, still not eye-popping, will be hoping that the Brazilians have an off day. Brazil

germany/argentina match would be reaaaaaaaallllly a watch! i think italy will come up with something just like the italy/aussie match. england might as well pack their bag back home. ahaha… brazil/france also looks a bit good. either way, the ball is round indeed

My predictions dude;
Argentina vs Germany
Argentina to go through barely. Ballack to miss the the crucial penalty :p
Italy vs Ukraine
Italy, although i totally deplored their diving tactics.
England vs Portugal
This is really hard as i don’t think both teams have been playing well. I’m going out of my limb here to say Portugal but just barely
France vs Brazil
Remember 86 and 98. I reckon the boyz will do it again. 2-1 victory to the Bleus!
June 28th, 2006 at 5:22pm
england supporter So you’re the one that’s been contaminating my blog with the English flag in the stats. How can I not classify you as a rodent when you don’t leave a link to your site? Haha!
lex England haven’t unloaded their bags since they got here…
sunil Dude, I can’t recall when was the last time a german player missed a penalty….hmmmmm…the Argies should lift the cup nevertheless…

June 28th, 2006 at 11:26pm
endroo g I had a sneaky feeling they would…everyone’s jabbering about Spain without giving the French a chance. They seriously need to switch to 4-4-2 with Trezeguet and Henry up front if they wanna cause problems to Brazil.
nyx Well, your colleague has good taste, what can I say? LOL. Good luck with the Argie Bargies…
ghee Thank you. What started out as a fun entry quickly flared to this cheap publicity stunt. And proud of it too! LOL
england supporter Haha! I knew you were gonna say that. Well, at least you’re not jumping on my arse about my English remarks…hats off. If England win the WC, I’m gonna switch my allegiance to lawn bowl and synchronized swimming.
June 29th, 2006 at 12:06am
Hehehe..as other has stated,nice pics.
I think it will be an England-Brazil & Argentina-Italy semi finals.
and as you suggested (portugal) the english lads might bore brazil to death too..HAHAHAA
June 29th, 2006 at 12:48am
oh why do i keep hitting your link on pps for the wc babes? =P
June 29th, 2006 at 9:13am
These pics are being quite popular to a few of the blokes in the office.
The final 8 will be whittled down to Argentina, Brazil and Italy.
The world may as well note that England will make it to the semi finals. They will stiffle Portugal and somehow ‘arse’ it through.
England are the 21st century Germany - boring and unimaginative football, all due to the manager.
June 29th, 2006 at 10:33am
Thanks for the trailer man… it’s really good…
By the way, remember to refresh yourself with what happened in Superman 1 and 2 as this is the continuiation from the old Superman Part 2.
A lot of people complained that it’s confusing..they were expecting a fresh start
June 29th, 2006 at 10:42am
footy Dude, looks like you’re maybe right on this one. England will bore any team.
chloe Haha! A marketing flim-flam…LOL
mr d You’re right about the English tossers…but for now, concentration is diverted towards the RETURN of SUPERMAN! Woohoo!
bengster Thanks for the heads up. Well, having seen Superman 1, 2, 3 not less than 100 times each over the last 20 years, it shouldn’t be a problem for me.
June 29th, 2006 at 11:44am
dude, i was joking about that. you knew that i was jokin right? nah, no need to go on a warpath. Enjoy the game is what it’s all about. Owh, my mistake. The QUARTERFINALS would be an interesting game then. Hv a nice day. Keep the hot babes pics coming! LOL
June 29th, 2006 at 12:03pm

June 29th, 2006 at 1:51pm
i am just hoping n crossing fingers praying this wont be another game where an anti brazilian friend of mine decides to torture me with 2 hours of 4-0 4-0 chants!
i so hope we get revenge
June 29th, 2006 at 3:03pm
Portugal’s best weapon is not what they have on the field, but off it.
Three words: 1. Luiz, 2. Felipe, 3. Scolari.
The dude who said to the English FA “Thanks, but f**king hell… no thanks”.
Eriksson can never hope to hold a candle against this dude. Twice England went ahead against Scolari. Twice he come back with a zonker and screwed ‘em over.
Please, Portugal… pleeeeeeease!
June 29th, 2006 at 3:14pm
visithra I don’t think France will beat Brazil by 4-0. Maybe by one or two goals…then I’ll join in with ur friend to chant! LOL! I don’t see the French old men winning this one…
keropok I read in the paper today that Scolari is described as Mr Motivator and Eriksson is described as Mr Magoo. Hahahahaha! Come on PORTUGAL!!!!!!
June 29th, 2006 at 5:49pm
I think I’m going to cheer for Brazil!!
June 30th, 2006 at 2:30pm
Oh. Babes.
Teams I’m rooting for.
Portugal (die, England, die!), Brazil (Zidane will go down fighting, a perfect ending for a legend), Ukraine (Italy’s victory against the Aussies was a fluke).
Not sure about Argentina or Germany. Probably Germany.

Anyway, I think Superman Returns is as much as a sequel to the old Superman 1 and 2 as Batman Forever was a sequel to Batman Returns.
