Someday You’ll Call Me Mr Big Time Too

Germany played well. A deserved victory. We have one week before Argentina comes calling should they brush aside the Mexicans.
Well, I’ve been ruminating over the events that has recrudesced in the last 6 months, a retrospective review of what I have wangled during that period. Working out has now become a routine in my life, to which I am pleased that I somehow manifestly focalized with a commitment to see it through. It was a yobbo in the first 2 months, as my physical side strained to convince my mind that exercising wasn’t for me. Here I am, some 7 months later, still working out thrice a week.
What else I have accomplished? Not much by my high standards. But, I’ve learned to stop and smell the roses (or JD), to treasure the finer things in life. Now, every time I get chafed or pertubed, I take a breather and reverberate. I’m glad that I have evolved. Some of you may have observed this. And thanks to blogging, I found a channel to vent my vexations.
More often than not, there are days when I feel like I’m stuck in a rut @ work. The feeling’s contrastive, it’s not the same anymore no thanks to certain political events. I am being goldbricked, no matter how hard I try to brush it aside, our office is enervating under the political influence of nepotism. I feel like I’m being thrown in the lion’s den. I know one thing’s for sure though, for all those who were unjustly treated over the years, to those who have been dismissed fortuitously, I’m fighting this fight for you. *ROLLS SLEEVE* And the truth shall set us free! Hahahahaha! Sorry, couldn’t help to add some drama sentence at the end….hehehehe…
Anyway, normal WORLD CUP blogging shall resume soon…

Germany 2-0 Sweden.
Hope the German’s don’t fall into the England trap – “1st half good, 2nd half not-so-good”…
Also worrying is that they created so many chances which they didn’t put away.
Argentina – if they get through, and I expect they will, touch wood – will be an altogether different proposition.
I expect it’ll be a smashing game!

No, the Germans will never play like England….they took the foot off the pedal in the second half because they’ve done the business, and conserving energy….Argentina will prove to be extremely tough…..
My expectations of Germany is the quarterfinals…so anything more after that is a plus…:-)
