No. This is not some swipe at Malaysians and their so-called miserable lives. Kvetching about everything especially cost of living, but the first ones to jampack any travel fairs. If you want the downlow on these people, you can read other blogs who rant like there’s no tomorrow. I’m talking about the movie, NEVERENDING STORY, which inspired this song by Limahl. Atreyu. Falkor. Fantastica.
I clearly remembered watching this film in the 80s, and was overawed by it. The overall conception of this movie is the therapeutic powers of imagination. Imagination has always had powers of miracle that no science can equate.
Apparently they made 2 additional sequels, which given the popularity, I shall skip ‘em. Hmmmm…suddenly recalling Beastmaster. ![]()

That linesman in that Reds-Bolton match must be having testacles for eyes, and should be sent to referee Under-12 matches from now on.
Anyway, Giorgio Moroder, synth maestro extraordinaere is responsible for the Never Ending Story OST, which made it so enjoyable. The opening instrumental track Ivory Tower sort of sums up what the album is going to be : Very good.
The sequel to The Never Ending Story is a bit off, IMHO. But then, since when do sequels ever turn out to be better than the original?

Wombat That call was dodgy indeed. Nevertheless, it was a freekick that Liverpool should’ve stopped. Giorgio Moroder, I cleary remember him being involved with the official World Cup 1990 theme, “To Be Number One”, and not to mention the Top Gun soundtrack! As for sequels…easy…T2.

I don’t remember “To Be Number One”. 1990 WC is hosted where?
The only WC song I can stand is New Order’s “World In Motion”. That was during Italia donno what year alredy. Was it 1990?

Wombat Italy. 1990’s official theme song, was Giorgio Moroder’s To Be Bumber One (or in Italian - UN ESTATE ITALIANA). Google it. I think New Order’s song was meant for England. I’ll upload it here one day.
