Well, I’m not gonna divulge into the nitty gritty details so much since Cely has already blogged about it. Think of this entry as a supplement from a male’s perspective, a male who thoroughly savored Casino Royale unlike some pansies who found it too ballsy for their liking.
I was scouring the Malaysian blogosphere and stumbled upon Rojaks’ review of this joint. I’m never a fan of blogs that regularly post photographs of food. What’s the frigging point?
We immediately left my office (in my car) from Menara Merais PJ to go on a hunting odyssey for this spot – Menara Tinjau. It sound vulgar I know, and the food confirmed it was! We arrived after 9pm, via Lake Gardens, past Zouk, a snarl-up in Jalan Ampang, and then took the MRR2, until we arrived at the left turn to Pandan Indah.
And then, Cely started to read the instructions; it said Esso on the left, to which I immediately retorted, “Yes, I know there’s an asshole on my left, but what does the instructions say?”. It took them a while to process the joke, and next thing you know, everyone cackled like hyaenas. Steve Irwin would’ve been proud. Sorry Alvin, wrong place wrong time I guess.
The view was energetically breathtaking. A perfect place for couples to get jiggy with it. LOL. The place was divided up in 2, one side was blaring techno music and the other (the one we opted), was playing schmaltzy ballads.
I sampled the Teh Tarik Dangdut (RM3), and after a sip, I felt like doing some dangdut myself, but the bewildered look on the others implied that I’d better sit my ass down else one may witness a flying botak Superman.
The view: 10/10. The food: 2/10
Look Out Point Restaurant and Cafe, Kompleks Pelancongan Menara Tinjau.

1.Exit the MRR2 at Pandan Indah Interchange.
2.Go straight until the T-Junction. (Esso will be on your left as you come up to the T-Junction). Turn right at the traffic light.
3.Take a left immediately at the next traffic light.
4.Take another left at the traffic light beside Puteri Plaza.
5.Turn right at the traffic light junction to Ulu Langat/Kajang. (Please take note, you might miss this turning).
6.From this traffic light go on the winding road for about 3 km.
7.Look out for the sign board Menara Tinjau on the right.
8.Will come across a food court on the right with carpark. Turn in and drive up the hill to the LookOut Point Restaurant. (Be careful of the initial hump at the entrance, might graze the undercarriage if your vehicle is loaded with humans).

personal prefs is when you are comparing 2 good things. one like this and the other like that, then this is personal preference.
but if one likes to eat steak and the other like to eat SHIT, can we say eating shit is his personal pref?

I tried that 3 restaurants over there. Worth to dine in the middle restaurant. It called Bread and Olives cafe. Here is the boss’s contact number: 013-2506119. We held a birthday party there in September, I love their unique Middle East food~
October 30th, 2007 at 3:49pm
Yeah!… went to the Bread and Olive cafe too. Just wondering why it that cafe have less customer compare to the other cafe when the food is better and the scene is perfect. Oh make sure sit downstair for a superb kl view too. That time, have the pizza ( heard from fren, pizza delicious) and milk chocolate.
Next time will go again for their other pizza.

ALI There are 3 restaurants there now? Hmm, I might give the other 2 a go then. I know the one on the right (as you come in) sucks bigtime!
January 1st, 2008 at 9:22am
I went there for New Year Eve, sadly it was a rainy night but all in all, the view was spetacular.
I agree with Yuk Ching, Bread and Olives was definitely the better food restaurant there. The food at the western restaurant kinda sucks and man, the manager attitude there is definitely rude, they have a if you want to eat here you have to take my attitude kinda thing.
Anyway, I do recommend the place.
January 22nd, 2008 at 2:15pm
my friends and i planned to go to have our end year dinner there but they collect RM50 per person..soundz like worthless…50 ringgit for a dinner…perghhhh
May 2nd, 2008 at 3:38pm

Say im coming from Jalan Ampang – KLCC on my right, Avenue K on my left.. then I drive straight up heading towards Ampang Point.. right ?
Then where do I see the MRR2 exit to Pandan Indah ?
Where do I enter the MRR2 ?
May 2nd, 2008 at 9:57pm
d Turn right at Ampang Point, i.e. into Kesas Highway, then head off at Pandan Indah interchange

October 9th, 2008 at 1:00pm
I am new in KL and wanted to visit the place.
Which is the nearest LRT to the resturant? from there if take taxi to the restaurant roughly how much is fare trip? anyone know?
October 9th, 2008 at 10:48pm
Attiya Nordin – Just follow the directions above. It’s pretty easy.
Lost – See the directions.
phieyw – I think the LRT in Pandan Indah. The problem of taking taxi over there, is that, you will not be able to get a taxi back. Not a good idea. Suggest to carpool.
December 17th, 2008 at 10:12pm
