Blogger Brought Blogger

Frankly, I have not felt this contented after converging with a group of strangers bloggers. Never in my dreams that I would thought of executing a BBB after a unforgettable world cup blogging escapade, that tranced many faithfuls. Out of the dozen invited, 6 turned up. Vicky, Lex, Tihtahpah, Endroo G, Larawannabe (w hubby and the-cutest-smile-this-side-of-Asia daughter) and yours truly. 3 FFK, and 1 was too timid. I shall spare the names because they don’t deserve to be associated with this entry.
We congregated @ Chili’s Midvalley for dinner. Ordered meals big enough to feed Singapore. I opted for the salad. And what a salad it was! The serving was so large, that it made a piss-take of the rainforest in Sarawak, subsequently brought out the goat in me. Meh-eh-eh-eh-eh! LOL
It concluded shortly before 11pm, and I accompanied Vicky to drop off little cookie monster Lex home while Larawannabe hesitantly left the scene, and we caught up with Endroo G and Tihtahpah for a spiritual session in Hartamas. Between us, we sipped 9 pints of Kilkenny (and 2 glasses of mojito the mosquito), the ONLY BEER that mattered, and the only worthy export that popped out from Ireland apart from Guinness Stout.
We ditched the joint for some non-alcoholic drinks at a mamak restaurant. The food was funky, but thankfully the company was cracking. Buoyant mood all around. I only had Milo on-the-rocks while the others did the Malaysian thing and gobbled food (I think it’s food). The “chutni” looked like it went through a stringent fear factor test.
And then the idea for a second BBB session was toyed with and endorsed by all. Date has been tentatively set. A BBQ overnighter awaits.

*rub eyes again* You finished the whole plate of salad. Unbelievable!
We must have Lex again to crack some jokes (NO, it wasn’t a joke) which we didn’t really want to hear especially while you’re eating. What she said again? “People dig their nose in the jam, somemore can wind down the window and shoot it out with the middle finger.” YUCKKKSSS.. I don’t care. It’d only be fair to share with those who didn’t turn up.
hahaha…Shame on you if we were talking about you!
Errr..apa mau cakap lagi. Thanks all for making this come to past. I truly enjoyed the company… and yeah… more off-line activities are coming up!
We, the groovy healthy bloggers!

meekiee Yes, tell me-ee-ee-ee about it. LOL. That statement by Lex was a perfectly timed!
endroo G Eminem has just released a new song, “You Don’t Know”, featuring 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Cashis – not bad. A typical Dr Dre production.
suanie Can can…

Keropok wasn’t invited? Being an attention ho, he would definitely have turned up, so he was either super busy or out of the country .. or uninvited.
Looks like you guys had a good time!

Larawannabe And thanks for joining. Hope you had a wonderful time like we did.
metria Yes, he was invited, but he turned it down because we teased him too much on his selection of Camry over Mazda 6.

Lex: what? They dig their goldmine in the middle of a jam ? Is that what you wrote about social ills for your socio papers exam ?

yar…i wanna meet Keropok who thinks Camry’s better than Mazda 6….I think we all should build up our ammunition on that and bambu him.
Lex: our encounter was shortlived…I’m hearing lotsa stories about you though…….hehehhee….

Lex I’m sure it be a best-seller? Who wouldn’t want to read a book about people excavating their noses in public?
endroo G I wonder whether she simulated the experience? LOL
tihtahpah Keropok’s prehistoric, but we don’t wanna upset the dude as he has connections that could lead to free-flowing booze. Ah what the heck, Camry’s fugly!
Lex

Endroo: I’m not sure if my gay socio lecturer would do that… perhaps he practices it…
Sze: 0_0 what stories… *faints*
Dan: best seller it is then
You’ll be entitled to the first copy

I have to disagree with your statement that a Camry is fugly… we own one here and it’s a very good car
But I have no idea if a Mazda 6 would be better – not a car freak and can’t be bothered.
On the other hand, I don’t want Keropok thinking I’m on his side … so Mazda 6 better lah!

metria I don’t know which model you own, though I admit that the new Camry is indeed better looking that it’s previous models. But but but, still I would choose the Mazda 6 over Camry in terms of exquisiteness.
