A Treasure Called Gunung Senyum

I’ve been a regular camper (thrice) at this place enshrouded in the depths of Temerloh. 25 caves, all “conveniently” congregated at a single area, making this one of the best places for cave exploration in West Malaysia. None of the commercial hoopla that caves in Perak provide. This is secluded. It was back in 1993 during my school camping trip that I learned about these caves. Am thinking of a “homecoming” trip in March 2007. Wanna join?
Gunung Senyum is on the left and Gunung Jebak Puyuh is on the right
Check out the number of caves to explore. I only covered approx 18 caves.

Can’t remember what cave this was…
Looks like a painting, doesn’t it?
In awe of the view

Ohh beautiful rocks formation!
Unfortunately I don’t like gua. Scare the living hell out of me. I associate gua with horror movies. Hahaha
btw, I got a place to stay at Mt KK through a travel package.

Jemima Without a doubt, Mulu is the best. But for those of us who destined to remain in West Malaysia, this is probably it.

Beautiful pictures of the caves! Too bad I’m stuck here in Sabah. And yes, I think Mulu caves are the nicest, too!

Izad Definitely underrated, which is good, else it’ll be too commercialized like those caves in Perak. If you wanna relive your memories, give me a holla…
