Italia World Cup 1990

To watch my favorite country, lift the World Cup, when I only just began supporting them, made it a really sweet memory. Lothar Matthaeus, Juergen Klinsmann, Andreas Brehme, Thomas Haessler, Pierre Littbarski, Rudi Voller, Andreas Moller…beating the overrated Argentina 1-0, in a forgettable final. But nevertheless, the German machine was at its best, and whenever I listen to this song, the World Cup’s theme song, I’m taken back into time.
This was the World Cup Italia 1990′s official theme song. To Be Number 1, by Giorgio Moroder. I think the original was in Italian, but it sounded too gay so they recorded the English version. LOL

Dan, even the Germans would readily admit that was their worst team to ever win the World Cup. Nevermind if Argentina and Maradona was bloody kicked from pillar to post the whole damn month (they’re still my favourite, if you didn’t guess by now)
Giorgio Moroder and Philip Oakey were the ‘lembuts’ who recorded ‘Together in Electric Dreams’. I liked that song!

I think you’ll have a change to exact revenge in the Mickey Mouse cup. 
Keropok Lothar Matthaeus is one of the greats and is my favorite footballer. I like “Together in Electric Dreams” too! Classico!

Henry won’t be so magical when his legs are broken by the UK mafia.
Oh the League Cup? Maybe we will let Arsenal win that one too and concentrate on the Champions League since Reds has won it 5 times and feel right at home. How many times has Arsenal won it? What’s that again? I can’t hear you. What? NONE?
