I just read an article claiming that Justice League, the movie is currently being made by Warner Bros. Eeek…a number of superheroes, sharing the same limelight? I’m sure it’ll definitely be better than that lame TV show, HEROES. Haha! But, it’s gonna be a challenging movie to tackle, as the scriptwriting needs to be fantabulous.
Superman, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Plastic Man and a bunch of other heroes? Sounds mouthwatering, a possible franchise in the making too. I’m not sure whether Warner Bros can deliver the goods. Will they get Brandon Routh and Christian Bale to reprise their roles? Or will the movie be concentrated on the others?

I would think that JLA movie will follow a similar vein to the X-Men movies. We meet a small group of the superheroes which are more well known. Hopefully yhey get a good story and spawn a few more movies which bring in more of the DC universe heroes and villans. could be awesome. Interesting who they will bring it but there are some issues about Batman and Superman given their other movie committments.
But nonetheless very exciting but will need a good story line and good character development (something Heroes does well but if i hope it does not get stuck in the LOST mode of taking things too slow and drustrating people).

Hey man…
1) No probs man abt the compliment. It happens.
2) I agree with the JLA. I’ve often wondered if they would ever do a movie where characters/actors from other movies came into play. A bigger challenge I think is juggling the no of superheroes. JLA has more heroes than X-MEN (I think).
3) Dude, c’mon, Heroes aint so bad. The last few eps not too good i admit, but its an ok show.

Mr D If they decide to use Superman and Batman, I hope they stick with the same actors. I feel the first 11 episodes of HEROES can be shortened to 3. Purposely stretched…that pissed me off…
Mo Yes, and I hope to see Superman fighting Batman, and Flash taking on Superman on a race around the world. OLE!

I think Heroes is not that bad, except that I agree what you said Daniel, the storyline is very slow. Kind of frustrating, actually.

Okay, here’s your movie:
Superman, Batman, WonderWoman, Flash, Green Lanter, Hawkgirl, Martain Manhunter (under no circumstances should there be an Aquaman anywhere near this movie…)
The threat, a world wide invasion of alien forces bent on the destruction of the world (i know, been done to death, right?)
The focus, superman and the scrifices he has to make in order to unite the heroes and save the world.
$200 million dollar budget, the writers from the animated series, and little tweeks to the characters to make them more believeable (lose the invisable jet, wally west as the Flash (played by Ryan Reynolds), a black GL (John Stewart) Target demographics, people…) and a big finally with Superman and Batman going toe-to-toe.
Make sure to leave room for the sequal and it’s all good.
But to be honest, it’ll probable suck.

YAY!!!!! finally! but i hope they’d ditch that brandon routh… he sucks.. someone like dean cain or tom wellington would do some justice… and keep christian bale.. damn, this could be all star movie man!!! Btw, simpsons movie is coming out soon i heard…

Lex Eh, I think Brandon Routh is perfect as Superman, just the script was dodgy. He’s still young and I won’t be surprised if he grows into the role. Btw, Dean Cain SUCKS!

Only up to episode 11….well it does improve come episode 14 or 15. Starts to pick up.
Yeah the JLA storyline needs to only contain a few characters and characters build up as the sequels come. But yeah the supeheroes uniting to fight off an alien treat is good. Anyway Smallville just recently did something with Green Arrow, Cyborg, Aquaman and Flash joining our hero to stave off some threat by lex Luthor (the episode titled ‘Justice’).

Mr D Well, let me know once the first season is over, whether you feel that the remaining episodes will change my mind. For now, I’m not impressed. Give me MISFITS OF SCIENCE anytime!
