He was successful with Chicago, churning out tunes like “Look Away”, “Inspiration”, “Hard to Say I’m Sorry”, “If You Leave Me Now”. He was successful as a solo artist, with hits like “Glory of Love”, “Even a Fool Can See”, “Only Love Knows Why”, “Restless Heart”. Did some magical duets with hits like “After All” (with Cher), “The Next Time I Fall” (with Amy Grant), “Feels Like Heaven” (with Chaka Khan) and “Forever Tonight” (with Crystal Bernard).
Yes, I am a fan of Peter Cetera. His voice is quite distinctive. I will leave with you his 1992 sleeper hit, one of my all-time favorites and my favorite Cetera song, “Restless Heart”, which went to number 1 on the US Adult Contemporary charts. What was your favorite Cetera record?
Peter Cetera – Restless Heart
I don’t wanna lose you
I don’t want you walking away
We’re so good together
Tell me its forever–cause I want you to stay
I’ll be damned if I’m living without you
And as long as I live, you will know
I just wanna build my world around you
Don’t want you to go
Don’t leave me here with my restless heart
(the) One you filled with emotion baby
Right from the start cause the hardest part
Is being alone with my restless heart
Tell me where you want me
Anytime I don’t care
Tell me when you need me
Cause baby when you need me, I will be right there
I’ll be damned if I’m living without you
And as long as I live, you will know
I will never build a wall around you
And I don’t want you to go

I have to say.. my favourite numbers from Chicago are If You Leave Me Now and Will You Still Love Me.
And from the man himself, I say Forever Tonight is ‘the’ song la.
“will you still love me for the rest of my life cause I can’t go on no I can’t go oooonnnnnnn” *holding mineral water bottle and sing*

Never liked him. His screechy voice is like finger nails scratching on blackboards…

I have several Peter Cetera favorites: Glory of LOve, The Next Time I Fall, Feels like Heaven, Faithfully, and I Wanna Take Forever Tonight. I have 3 of his CDs and have Chicago’s greatest hits as well. Peter Cetera has an awesome voice!!!

Giddy Blue Devil That song’s not too bad either. But RESTLESS HEART will always remain as my favorite.
Wombat Wow. You’re the first person I know that dislike Cetera. I guess you hate Bee Gees too?
kawi11 Yes, a very distinctive voice. Wonder if he has any new songs…
