Bukit Tinggi Steamboat

A bunch of us – Cely, Hong Kiat, Earl-ku, Szelin, Andrew, Chelva, Bratt, Lee Yee and myself, gallivanted to Bukit Tinggi over the weekend, for some do-it-yourself steamboat (wonderfully organized by Cely) and booze (arranged by Earl-ku). A relaxed outing that I found it a little too muted by my high standards. 
The view from the Meranti apartment was kinda magnetizing (though I’m more of an island person). I had chapati and some pandan buns for dinner and lunch respectively prior to this outing, and felt the full brunt of it later at night, where I wobbled and clambered to not zonk out. A borderline hypoglycaemic.
After dinner, we gallivanted through the darkness, aided by moonlight, to the middle of nowhere, and came to a clearing with bungholes the size of Singapore. Then, Chelva and I, from a distance, witnessed the sight of Earl-ku going all kukujiao-ed about spiders by lunging his sandals at their nests to destruct the web. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Spiders wouldn’t have been too amused.
The trip was too short. And the rain at Colmar didn’t help either, though I enjoyed watching the ladies – Cely, Lee Yee, Szelin and Andrew – making dogs out of balloons with a help of a clown. All in all, a subdued sashay for me, thanks to LENT.

thats so gracious of you oh Great Gallivanter to pass the invitation
but ill have to pass as much as i wan’t to join, but my demonette is flying down from spain to watch the F1 and we’ve booked out tickets already..if i change the plan my demonette is going to kill me…she’s crazy over F1 so am I 
next time i’ll join you guys thanks again…

Lucifer Wowee, a trip to Spain.
I wanted to catch the Malaysian GP, but realized that it clashed with the Gunung Senyum trip.
Sha The pathetic weather helped a little. Haha!

i’m happy to follow this trip b’coz there are few funny person around there.The girl who fully prepared a lot of food for those “spiderman” , but except me :p and finally can’t finish it. after dinner, we have a night walk outside, and i get the mud shoes back..

Lee Yee Well, I really do hope you had a great time, and also hope that you do join us for further excursions, promise it won’t be as boring as Bukit Tinggi, as the next big one would be on an island.

Erm..doesn’t this sound inappropriate? An article named bukit tinggi ‘’steamboat” with nothing mentioned or even just touched on steamboat..it’s as if i ordered a bowl of wantan which is served without the wantan..
