Misfits of Science
I vaguely remember this TV series, for those of you who don’t know, it’s 80′s version of HEROES, but much funner. It was one of Courtney Cox’s earliest appearance, apart from Bruce Springsteen’s video – Dancing in the Dark.
I remember the following characters, a towering black man who has the ability to shrink to doll size, Johnny B who has electrical powers but vulnerable to water and a telekinetic teen.
Land of the Giants
Anyone seen this series before? It’s a late 60′s show, given a short rerun in the early 80′s. It’s about a crew in a spaceship which accidentally transports them to a world where life-forms are HUGE compared to them. The life-forms were human too.

I remember Misfits of Science! But actually with my failing memory all I remember is the name of the show, heh.

Both these shows were my favourites…. I think Misfits is way better then HEROES…. TV shows nowadays are just so overly Dark and gloomy….

So that’s the name… Land of the giant. I always wondered. Remembered when I was young I kept crashing toy aircraft at the backyard on the grass and imagined “land of the giant” story unfold. silly me.

Of course it felt like the Heroes of the 80s…Tim Kring worked on Misfits of Science long before he sold Heroes to NBC

Yeah Courtney Cox was my crush then
…. Land of the Giants can’t remember that much about it..but wasn’t it a similar plot like Inner Space which featured Dennis Quaid & Meg Ryan where they were shrunk and sent somewhere…. All i remember about land of the giants was that they go in and out of the air vent in a room
