Moero Attack!

Anyone remember a Japanese TV show called Moero Attack? Made in 1979, and was broadcasted via RTM1 in late 80s. It was quite popular in Malaysia back then, about a Japanese girl playing volleyball, with ludicrous techniques, that she shouts before pulling the trick. Her best move was a midair flip before she spikes the volleyball. Yeah baby! LOL. Of course, it was dubbed by our dubious translators.
There’s not much information on this program for obvious reasons.
What was your favorite NON-ENGLISH TV program when you were young?

Besides Moero Attack (wow, can’t believe there’s people who remembered this series), there was an even earlier one called O-Shin..about this peasant girl. ANd of coz, all dubbed in Malay

It was Ultraman for me……the original Ultraman and not all the other Ultraverses…

tihtahpah I clearly remember how almost everyone in my school followed it. I made it a point not to miss the series. Haven’t heard of O-Knees.

Remember the famous “Piring Terbang” move from Moero Attack?…I must say, Ultraman was my favorite…Don’t blame me…I was still in primary school that time…

I watched this series too at RTM. Yeah, really love it so much. I really wish could get da vcd or dvd or any type as long can collect and re-watch it
