Do you believe in Heaven and Hell? Or do you think that religion was created simply to put fear in men, so there wouldn’t be any chaos?
Judaism – No clear indication of heaven or the afterlife in the scriptures. This religion is more concerned with life, here and now.
Christianity – Singing and rejoicing, especially the Protestants. All that exaggerated drama and OTT born-again converts.
Islam – If your good works outweigh the bad, you have a straight path to heaven.
Buddhism – It believes the flames cause suffering, and hope that heaven would extinguish the flames and end suffering.

Well… I believe there’s God. Heck, maybe there’s only 1 God and each of the religions call it with a different name. I mean someone must have been ruling this life that we are living in, you see? It can’t just run on it’s own. Well, maybe like Men in Black? Remember the world/planet in the locker? And we are infact are one of the lockers?
I also think that we are like a chess set. Someone is indeed playing us… like ok now Faiez you write a comment in Daniel’s blog
Sometimes religion is indeed overrated. Everyone thought their God is the truest version of God and if you dont follow that God u go straight to hell.
I’ve been told what hell’s gonna be like and I pretty much sure nobody would want to end up there.
So enough of my clever speech now… I gotta make sure I shut up now or… I am so gonna go to hell.
p/s: err.. Religion is all about faith I think… so if someone has faith in porn, does that mean his religion would be Pornism?

i believe ultimately we all pray to the same god. Religion came about because of superstition and for economic/political reasons and convenience. That’s what i think i guess.

The fear of God is a virtue and yes i do believe in Heaven because i believe in The Devil and the condemnation of Hell.
All religion in it purest of forms only speaks of one thing…. God will towards all beings. Its the ‘beings’ that corrupt the religion.

To tell you the truth, I’m beginning to feel that all religions are nothing more than human made. If there is really a supreme being, he’s not doing a very good job, letting his people “humanised” him and being ignorant of how the characteristics of the human that he created, how we evolve and worse, has no idea how to deal with this except to say “do as I say or go to hell”.

As a Baha’i, let me explain my religion’s version of heaven. It’s not a place whereby we enjoy eternal bliss, but a distance to God. Hell is a place whereby we are distant to God, as opposed to eternal version of hell.

I think in the end of the day, it comes to the point whether or not you have faith in God. The others are just man made excuses.
