Never been a huge Bon Jovi fans, except for a few choice songs (This Ain’t A Love Song is my fav – phwoar!!!)

I’m somewhat happy Liverpol didn’t win. I don’t usually wish any team ill luck (besides England in internationals) but if Liverpool won, we would not have heard the end of it… for years…

Sonny Hello Sweden! Yes, it looks like the album’s gonna be a hit among Jovi fans, and it will attract a new fan or 10 million. :-)

tincho sambora You’re absolutely right, it’s a song that grows on you after a while…

    ~Bee Nee~ That makes the 2 of us… ;-)

Kay Kastum Perfect setting! Though I don’t think this will be released as a single.

pelf Wait til you hear the full song. :-)

Keropok Fair enough. Yes, I’m happy that Liverpoo didn’t win too! :-D

Melissa Bed of Roses is definitely up there among the best ballads, “Always”, “I’ll Be There For You”, “Never Say Goodbye” and “This Ain’t a Love Song” too! ;-)

tincho sambora I’ve seen this before, I think those days, those TV talk shows couldn’t handle LIVE music, hence it was recorded. :-)

Hi, what a beautiful Song!! Does anyone know who the Lady that is Singing w/ Jon in the song “seat right next to you”–
Appreciate it. Her vioce sounds familiar almost like “allison Kraus”.But, i am not sure. Whoever she is, wow, what an excellent Voice and, duet….
    Thanks ! ~Deb

deb I’ve no idea whose voice that is, but it blends really well with Jon doesn’t it? :-)

  20. [...] Seat Next to You Fantastic percussion, sweet-flavored lyrics. Nice touch with the female voice accompaniment, and easily a gem for couples – “my precious”! It has DESTINATION ANYWHERE feel to it, Jon’s 1997 solo album. A commendable ballad. 7/10 [...]

I love this song. I think Jon’s tone is amazing at the beginning of the song, but I think the chorus is a little weak. But this song just makes me feal nice.

    Jun 18th, 2007

Tyson Yup, it’s probably the weakest ballad on the album. But still beats out anything on Crush and Bounce.

i was reading about this song… And know i understand it a little more…

When you read the lyrics, you think about a man and a woman…

But richie said that he says save me a seat next to you to his father… ;´(

    That´s another reason why i love this band… :D

These days,it´s hard to have a heart, but,Undoubtedly, they have it…

And also I like, obviously, the topics that they approach in their songs…

Bon jovi, keep the faith, and dont forget to keep on rocking in the free world… =P

not sure if this has been answered, but the lady is Hillary Lindsey. She is a great songwriter from nashville and writes for Carrie Underwood and MANY other artists. :)

tincho sambora To me, it’s one of the weakest song on the album, and should’ve been replaced with WALK LIKE A MAN.

lauren Thanks Lauren, yeah, I read the album sleeves. :-)

I know some think this song is weak, but I think it is one of their best EVER. Moving lyirics and sung brilliantly.
