Chris Cornell – Billie Jean

From Soundgarden to Audioslave, and then the kickass theme song to Casino Royale, “You Know My Name”, Chris Cornell’s back with a second solo album (there was a previous one?). I like his voice, has that edgy rock feel to it. It’s a pretty decent effort. Of all the songs on the album, it was his bluesy cover of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean that stood out the most. 6/10

Oh man i absolutely adore this guy…such distinct vocals. I especially loved his James Bond theme…although i must say i didn’t care much for his rendition of Billie Jean

sabrina It could be the fact that nothing beats the original, still I give him brownie points for not desecrating it.

You should see it live!!! His voice is actually better than it was 10 years ago. What a stage presence!!! You can see it live at Yahoo Live Sets.
