Don’t be a Whiny Sod
SharePosted on 06. Jun, 2007 by Gallivanter in Thoughts
We’ve all encountered moaners. Moaners are people with nothing nice to say and tend to pout all the time. They always end sentences with the word “sucks”, and annoy others around them just for thrills. I keep my distance.
Whiny sods love being contentious for no reason, pay attention to yourself when you realize people around you are positively rebutting your remarks. There is a time and day for negative discussion. Spare it!
Friends who are used to your yammering will soon start disregarding your input without consideration. Nobody likes a grumbler. Soon, we’ll start avoiding you, and finally stop inviting you altogether.
If all you do is complain complain complain on a daily basis, please admit yourself into a funny house. That’s probably the only place where people would listen to you, of course, they’re paid to.
Learn to know how and when to carry your negativity. Kapish?

I can’t tolerate a whiner who whines as if like ONLY his/her life (job, whatever, etc) suck and the rest of us in this world is living a fantabulous life. Pfft!
Also, I can’t stand a whiner who only whines but do nothing about it.
I whine too… and moan… and sulk…

bhazy Yeah, people got start being so negative and be thankful for what they have.
Faiez I agree, there’s a boundary. Know when to say it and how to say it without affecting other people’s mood.
Mr D That’s the way amigo.
tihtahpah Is self pity and whining the same thing? Most complainers DON’T DO nothing about it.
huei Well, yeah, don’t bring everyone else’s mood down when you’re in a group.
susie_q I was expecting a comment like that, so please read the underlining statement.

Moaners are yappers not doers, they complain daily but dun get off their behinds to do anything positive to change their current condition. They may also not be conscious about it and I reli do think this is the oni way they knoe how to get attention.

DANG.
This sounds like me. Perhaps I’m not happy where I am, that’s why I complain too much.
I should make myself happy again. LOL.

A whiney guy deserves to be bashed up more than a whiney girl deserves to get slapped. I really can’t stand whiney guys lol.

I dunno, I have friend who is like this, but I guess the best is just to “masuk telinga kanan keluar telinga kiri”, we all have our ways of saying and interpreting things.

Sha Whiny guys are a pain in the bunshole too.
Jewelle Kiri kanan? That doesn’t sound like being a good friend now does it?
Giddy Tiger Of course, just not whining about the outing while it’s taking place!

It’s true that a whiner can be a right pain in the arse. But i think a bit of allowance should be given to someone who is goin thru depression…cos they don’t realise that they’re doin it; and sometimes it eases the pain to talk

sabrina Of course, I agree 100%. This entry is a dig at CONSTANT moaners. CONSTANT.

You are absolutely right. You can actually sense these kinds of people from the look on their faces before they actually open their mouths.
