A Songwriting Process : The Song

You may have a masterpiece of your own. I went through this process, where the lyrics came before the melody, and I came up with this song. Have a good weekend, I’m off to KK for the bloggers meet and whitewater. 
A RENEWED POSSIBILITY
She’s what’s left to believe that a heart can be saved
I’m really wishing this night was last night again
I wanna swap my guitar for her warm embraces
My emotions got me spinning like a roller coaster ride
As I stare at the stars that inspired this lullaby
Ever since I met her, this stagnant heart came alive
Am I falling in love? Falling falling
Hey I cant wait another day I cant help but go insane
There’s so many things I left unsaid
She said come whatever may, it’s worth the wait
Is it you that I keep coming back for more to a place where I belong
When I get there I’ll knock on your front door
I’ll make an offer you can’t ignore – make my heart your home
I keep hearing her voice in a million places
I never knew that magic like this still exist
The look in my eyes now it’s renewed with possibilities
Her number’s safely tucked in the back of my jeans
In her kiss I taste the sweetest of melodies
Am I guilty of wearing my heart on my sleeve?
Have I said too much or haven’t said enough?
Is this God’s plan to make 2 less singles tonight?
Or is it just another love passing me by?

ahh, where’s the melody hmm? melody! melody!! lyrics are lifeless without the melody… unless you’re talking about poems
