The remix version was a bigger hit than the original slower track. It was re-released in the same year with Inner Circle’s Da Bomb in 1996. If you have heard of that reggae tune, you would’ve guessed that Dre “borrowed” the melody from it. I love Dr Dre, because when he produces music, the bombing beat is nothing short of heart-thumping.
