I stared at my feet, wondering how did I not notice what time has done to it. They looked like a feet of someone who’s turning 30 in December, and they belong to me. Is 30 the new 20? Yeah right. I’m just months away from the big 3-0, but I still feel the same me, albeit with a few wrinkles here and there. Looking back at my 20s, I’ve no regrets whatsoever.
I partied, I socialized, I traveled, I loved, I lived. So, if you’re still in your 20s, please make sure you live your life to the fullest. Stop being a lazy ass person and then when you turn 30, you wonder where have all the years gone? Was EVERY year of your 20s life eventful? Start making memories now so you have something to look back and smile about when you hit another decade of your life.
Stop wallowing in self pity, time waits for NO ONE.

LOL! You make it sound as if you’re turning 50, talking about wrinkles and feet.. You’re younger than my eldest brother and he’s still a “Spongebob Squarepants + Simpsons” kinda guy..
Most of my ex-colleagues said the best time of their lives were during their 30’s. So, embrace it and I think it’ll be better than your 20’s.

Shemah Of course - I can’t wait to embrace my 30s after living a fulfilling life in the 20s.
Kay Kastum Uncle Daniel? Hmmm, I already have my nephews and nieces calling me that, so no biggie.
Tine LOL. I’m not ranting actually, I just want to remind people out there that time waits for no one, so live your moment before time passes you by.
lilian Really? Happy 33 birthday.

I agree with you. Enjoy life as it is no matter how old you are rather than you regret it later.

I actually look forward to turning 30 as weird as it sounds. They say the best things in life happens in your 30’s. Besides, remember the mantra: age is just a number, age is just a number.. hehe.
It’s also interesting to note that you listed “partying” first before everything else. Exactly what am doing! (self validation again)

xin I’ll be blazing through it in December!
Che-Cheh OLE! For me, life begins every year.
charlenediane No, it doesn’t sound weird - just remember to enjoy your present (I see that you’re doing it extremely well).
Oh yes, I partied and I partied good!
zewt I suppose they want to secure their future, but unfortunately, they get caught in the moment that they forget to LIVE. Securing future is one thing, but enjoying the moment before time gobbles it up is another.
Larawannabe Yes yes, I’m looking forward to re-inventing the 30s.
