At that time, nobody was talking about it yet (as of this week alone - I've read about it at many sites - I wonder why?!) It's a wonderful book - although there are many times I am tempted to stop because I don't want to find out what happens next and times when tears just had to come out of my eyes because of the cruelty that took place. But the part about how life was in Afghanistan pre Taliban was very interesting. Two thumbs up for me too I bought this book in 2005 because I’m always on the lookout for asian / historical based stories.
