And that owner of the “asam boi” dog happens to be me :P

I have a cat who have a typical chinese name called “Siu bo-bo” and a nickname goes by as “kai-tan-kou” meaning egg cake because she likes to eat cat. And yes, both this names were given by my lovely grandma who have a kick in giving our pet nicknames :D

I think a few of your readers thought u are talking about names of pet – instead of ‘pet names’. This is quiet hilarious.

I have heard a chinaman calls his mistress in a lift “sex slave” – possibly a pet name. And incidentally she was wearing a mini-t with SEX printed all over it. So, you have it – they deserve each other.

Hahahahahahaha! I meant “pet” names not names you give to your pet animal. LOL.

My close friends call me Bobot (I even used that name in my TARA2 audition vid) because of.. well… take a look at me and you’ll know why lah.

It was only months after they start calling me that, that we realize Bobot means “vagina” in Kadazan or something. Well, I’m sticking with it. LOL

Hmm.. sexy pervy. Pervy geek. Pervy. I don’t know if that shows love and endearment… but sure as hell lusty. LOL. But those aren’t really petnames, since I wasn’t being called that all the times, only when I was naughty.

But I used to like Baby & Yang. Now I think ‘Babe’ is cool.

The questions now is what is YOUR pet name for your other half – since you brought up this subject ;-) Bah capat, share!!

I once heard a grand uncle (70+) of mine (orang putih) called his wife, “pumpkin” – it may sounds ridiculous if used by folks our age but at their I thought it sounded absolutely romantic!

Everytime I pick up some useless Buy 1 Free 1 offer in Watsons or Guardian with a twinkle in my eye, my boyfriend will say, “Schmucky…”

If not for him,I’d probably have a million ‘travel-size hand moisturisers’ by now.

Ok that’s not much of a pet name, but it sure is an effective one!

I personally like “b” short for baby but particularly hate sayang. Coz it sounds kinda gedik like “sayang…abg..” – no offense to those who use it tho :P

As for me, i call the guys im with “dear” (great trick so I dont mix up their names! LOL!)

p/s: I laughed at the fact that people we talking about names they call their pets.

IcedNyior I’ve seen a million couples use “b” and “baby”. “Sayang” is beautiful, it depends on who uses it I suppose.Hmmm…

Well, my husband calls me sayang and vice versa.. but when I get mad, I call him husband. As in “husband, when are you going to throw out the trash??!!!” and stuff like that! LOL!

But the worst ever.. Is “my sweet pookie”!!! HONEST, one of my friends uses that in sms. Because they know when they say it out loud, it sounds absurd and obscene!! So why bother at all?!?! Eww-ness!
