Friendster is boring compared to Facebook. How addicted are you to Facebook? Are you compulsive? I’ve notice some people who log in every other hour to keep tabs on new applications and newsfeed. I’m sure that most of you Facebook users get withdrawal symptoms if you’re not on it for some time.
What’s with the bloody poke feature? I get poked for no reason and for no reason I poke back, but then I get repoked to which I ignore the bloody thing. Now I don’t even bother with that. How many of you now believe FACEBOOK as part of your life? I deactivated my account a while back and then reactivated it. I know people who deactivate and reactivate on a weekly basis.
Lets face it. You’re hooked and there’s nothing you can do about it. Facebook is NOT a necessity. It’s just a form of egotism that seizes your balls and suck you in. Facebook is nothing but a work-distracter. Is it a threat to blogging? The jury’s out.
What started off as a guiltless pleasure soon gyrated into a worrisome addiction. How many hours do you spend on Facebook each day? Are you a person who keep refreshing your Facebook every few minutes? If you spend your time on Facebook rather than living your life, then you definitely need to get a life.
Please don’t waste time poking people. Use Facebook as a network but don’t let your life orbit around it. It’s time that we start the FACEBOOK ADDICTS ANONYMOUS club as most of us do not know how to distinguish LIFE and FACEBOOK.

hahaha that’s what i went through at first. and adding those small apps every now and then was really annoying. i ignored all invites to any apps and now i have one long list of ppl asking to add this and that -_-”
i didn’t go to the extend of deactivating but i only check if there’s any new friends to add. other than that, i treat it the same as friendster
have to agree that friendster is boring compared to facebook

I dont like facebook actually. I like friendster better cos it is hassle free and you can’t be bothered about it. Facebook has this mass mailing techniques, where you keep on adding applications JUST BECAUSE.
So I think, the best way not to get annoyed with facebook is to ignore all those poking and invitations, hehe. Just add the people who wanted to be friends with you, I mean who you allowed to be added.
But if facebook starts to add blogger as one of the applications, that will be another story.

Christine LOL. It’s bloody addictive isn’t it?
Kenny Ng Yeah, just too damn much applications to keep up, but once you’re hooked, there’s no turning back.

satkuru Yes, adding applications is annoying, but to me, my favorite app is still the iLike - where I’m in the lead. Muahahaha!
Jason Welcome to addiction. It’s inevitable.
Jemima I understand your predicament, no rush, take care of your mommy dearest first, that’s zillion times more important than this! *HUGS*

Mr D Definitely.

A friend accused me of being addicted to Facebook. But to me, as long as ur doing everything u’ve been doing before u heard of Facebook, it’s all good. I admit, there is a certain sinister satisfaction being a Pirate and stealing coins from friends though.
Enjoy Facebook…sensibly!

I kinda like it and the fact that I’ve started finding old school friends and all that now, it’s kinda cool. yeah, the poking and beer sending can get outta hand but it’s only a click away and you CAN ignore it.
annoying, though, sometimes.
