hahaha that’s what i went through at first. and adding those small apps every now and then was really annoying. i ignored all invites to any apps and now i have one long list of ppl asking to add this and that -_-”

i didn’t go to the extend of deactivating but i only check if there’s any new friends to add. other than that, i treat it the same as friendster :P

have to agree that friendster is boring compared to facebook :)

I dont like facebook actually. I like friendster better cos it is hassle free and you can’t be bothered about it. Facebook has this mass mailing techniques, where you keep on adding applications JUST BECAUSE.

So I think, the best way not to get annoyed with facebook is to ignore all those poking and invitations, hehe. Just add the people who wanted to be friends with you, I mean who you allowed to be added.

But if facebook starts to add blogger as one of the applications, that will be another story.

Wannabe Economist Me? A sociaholic hating social networking sites? Facebook kills socialism though.

Christine LOL. It’s bloody addictive isn’t it?

Kenny Ng Yeah, just too damn much applications to keep up, but once you’re hooked, there’s no turning back. :-)

clement No idea but you’re in my group. I know I’m leading the music challenge – come challenge me! :-D

satkuru Yes, adding applications is annoying, but to me, my favorite app is still the iLike – where I’m in the lead. Muahahaha!

Jason Welcome to addiction. It’s inevitable.

Jemima I understand your predicament, no rush, take care of your mommy dearest first, that’s zillion times more important than this! *HUGS*

Faiez It wont be long before you get sucked in. :-) Poking is freaking annoying. Come let me throw a sheep at ya! Blogger application? Check out flog blog.

nicktay I’m 100% with you on this – I ignore all that nonsense.

Giddy Tiger Can can, for our first meet, let’s discuss it in facebook over superpoke. LOL.

xin Are you on it yet? It’s addictive because it gets electromagnetic impulses to your brain, i.e. brain food, but at the same time, encouraging procrastination.

endroo G Errr..I actually hate that.

    Mr D Definitely.

Jean Take your time, cause once you’re in, you’re in a vortex of socialism addictiveness. :-P

A friend accused me of being addicted to Facebook. But to me, as long as ur doing everything u’ve been doing before u heard of Facebook, it’s all good. I admit, there is a certain sinister satisfaction being a Pirate and stealing coins from friends though. ;) Enjoy Facebook…sensibly!

I kinda like it and the fact that I’ve started finding old school friends and all that now, it’s kinda cool. yeah, the poking and beer sending can get outta hand but it’s only a click away and you CAN ignore it.

    annoying, though, sometimes.

Wanna play scrabulous? Hee hee hee…..I lose kow-kow everytime. and sheesh….I am supposed to be the ‘writer’ wor…..

JACQ Welcome to the club. Yes, “poking” is a useless tool, the superpoke thingy however is alright.

Anu Yes, we need to be sensible. Agreed. :-)

marsha Well, that’s what social sites are all about. Scrabulous?
