Hi, long time not dropping by.. :P

I totally agreed with you. Company pay me for your work from 8.30am to 5.30pm. After 5.30pm, it is my personal time. Works will never finish. We must always balance between our personal life and working life. We must work smart not work hard.

Same here.. Gov pays me from 700am-530pm.

If nothing is confirmed early.. U can bet I wont be answering any calls from the main office, or my boss.

After all.. its my personal time.

one thing.. when u work, ask ur spouse work too..

then, collect all money as much as u both can.. then both quit. open a business.. so, u will be together forever.. So, no problem with gaduh2, or not enough time to spend each other.. :D

Human also can be multi-tasking meh :D

    keeyit Spot on!

    cdason Nice one! :-)

xin :-P , but yes, keep it within the working hours.

Kitkat All the best to ya, just make sure you don’t end up falling sick while doing that and regret later.

Rice Blogger Obviously, which country has an average wage that makes you your first million in 5 years? :-P

    Jason Sad but true…

superhero W LOL. It’s not about that at all, it’s about finding the BALANCE.

JuN jUn Definitely a balance is needed. Being a workaholic makes you miss the better things in life, and by the time you realize that, age may have caught up and it’s too late by then.

superhero W Yes yes yin yang! :-)

lovie Agreed. This is just a reminder to those who work their butts off only to regret about not living life as they grow older…

Here here, the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong said essentially the same thing in his autobiography. Before he was a gazillionaire and still working 7 days a week in the 50s, he still got the time to put all 6 small kids in the car and go for joyrides and Saturday night movies.

COMPLETELY agree! Agree! Everyone….must pay attention to your personal life and relationship with those around you. Money is not everything. I earned myself borderline blood pressure because of all these leh….money DAMN good but heck, wasn’t worth it at all. Lovie is right….balance is the way to go!

Yeah, totally agree with you on having a balance life…work is a never ending story that is why you have to go to work everyday…otherwise we will always have to hop from one company to another when our job is done…and I truly believe just working alone is no fun at all as at the end of the day you’ll feel empty inside you…but having a relationship gives you something to look forward to at the end of your hectic day…and having someone to share your ups and downs is certainly very good for the heart and soul :) What’s more when you have a cute little baby waiting for you at home ;p (ok ok, I get carried away being a new mom hehe..)
