if you want to get a tattoo, make sure you find a good tattoo artist with a great tattoo art work. the down side is, good tattoo artist won’t be cheap. most of the art work will cost you more than rm500 to rm1000 or more. i don’t have a tattoo myself but from what i saw in miami ink, you need to have an impressive artwork tattooed with a purpose and story along it on your body so you can show it off, and be proud of it

once the novelty of a tattoo wears off? naaahh… i got me inked on my 21st bday…. with a pretty simple design but slightly customized with some stuff that is personal to me… to me, it reminds me of those things always… i just need one look at that tattoo to appreciate all the things that i have, and all others problems seem to disappear…

I have always wanted to get a tattoo too… on my lower back. But never got round to doing it. Same reasons as you… I’m afraid I might regret it.

my tattoos mark different phases of my life. they are reminders, of the person i was then and how far i’ve come.

the memory of that doesn’t really wear off….

i feel that if ur tattoo has a meaning behind it. Then you’d never get fed up with it.. i got a tribal butterfly on my back..its a one of a kind free hand design by a friend of mine..
it was daunting , tkaing that step to actually sit donw and let your friend ink you, but if its meaningful enough, you’d go through it.

I know many peole who appreciate the art of tattoo but dont do it. and many too who want to, but still have doubts.

    if your doubtful then dont.

Some people think that tattoos mark different phases of their life and won’t feel too bad if they were to regret later. Some people are not ready for it, for they can’t still find the right image that they really like. It really depends, some tattoos are just too uncool. I might get inked, but definitely not now. Haha.

From my own experience, it’s important to get a tattoo that has a deep meaning to you. Then secondly get a good tattoo artist. Then u won’t regret for the rest of your life.

I bet that some of you with tattoos will hugely regret it when you’re into your 40s. ;-) I know ALL elderlies do regret…

I have heard of the comment before about, “You will regret your tattoo once u turn 50 and your tattoo on the skin will wrinkle and will look ugly and it’s gonna stand out so much and not look as good as it used to be.” Well, once we turn 40, 50, or 60 for that matter, who would look NOT ugly, regardless or not you have tattoos. This is such a typical view regarding tattoos, but like age old saying, “There are two types or people, people with tattoos and people who are afraid of people with tattoos.”
Ask yourself this,”If you were to die tomorow, would you get that tattoo today?” Life is all about living with no regrets.
    Btw, I love tattoos. :)
