Why Women Cry?
SharePosted on 23. Nov, 2007 by Gallivanter in Gender
Is it hormonal? Or something legitimate? Or just spoofing an emotional attack?
A woman is likely to be emotionally saddled (sometimes with tears) leading up to her menses. Don’t brush off her feelings although you may think that she’s overreacting. Play along and sympathize. But, don’t recognize PMS as the cause else she’ll bitch slap you back to Africa.
Sincerity. Is she genuine or just playing out? Even if she’s sincere, it’s tough to decode why she’s crying a river. Whatever it is, don’t try to figure it out, alternatively, validate and support her. She only wants to be heard. That’s all.
When tears are commingled with anger, don’t console her. Just walk through her bitternesses and then give her time to simmer down. Women tend to spend time brooding in their memories – good and bad, that will push them towards tears and open the flood gates.
Let her express herself. Remember, DON’T blame it on the PMS.

Well said. Remember guys, never said “dang woman, is it that time of the month again?!” or you might find yourself separated from your nads
When it happens, just let the girl vent. Let her cry it out, nod along, but know when to back off. Now with the latter, I’m afraid I can’t tell you when to do that. ‘Cos I don’t know when we’ll start again

*laughs*
This is absolutely true, under no circumstances should you MENTION the letters PMS, when this happens, even though, chances are that you both know it is the reason. Just give her a little hug and everything should be okay.

Thank you all, sometimes knowing what to do and practicing it is difficult because it challenges the man’s temperament too. I’m not perfect, no one is.
