How was your weekend? I spent my weekend taking Mel to the Portuguese settlement in Malacca. We spent the night, in Malacca, gallivanting at Jonker Walk, A-Famosa and the Portugues settlement. I’m sure Mel will blog about the outing at some stage. I wanna share with you the x’mas lights and colors illuminating the sky @ the Portuguese settlement. Christmas spirit is truly in the air! MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

Papajoneh has a pub in Malacca?

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2008 from Mel and I

It can give Candy Cane Lane a run for its money.

It really look beautiful with decorative lighting, but during daylight the Portuguese settlement is not inviting for visit. The jetty are almost gone and the Malacca state government are not putting effort to keep the charactor associate with the settlement. Look at the Johore coastal sight build by the government you will understand. The priority for what type of people the development money are being use.

Shan – There are quite a few around there, depending on budget. The best would be Lisbon Hotel, smack dab in the heart of the settlement.
Good luck!
