It’s Called Relationship, Not Ownership
SharePosted on 17. Dec, 2007 by Gallivanter in Relationship
If you’re in a relationship, it does not mean that you OWN each other. We have our own right of independence. Of course, you need to consult each other when making decisions, especially if it’s a big plan.
But, you must not compromise your own time, with your friends and your hobbies. You can still make some room for her in your life, but don’t push everything else out. It’ll stop you from being who you are.
If you feel owned, just speak to her and explain to her gently, that you’re the owner of your life.

Wombat : Cayang, I feel owned, I need to speak to you and explain to you gently, that I am the owner of my life.
MrsW : No problem. Talk to me.
