Traveling feeds knickknackery and you get to experience new lifestyle and cultures. To me, I live and breed travelling, hence the moniker, gallivanter, defined as wandering aimlessly in search pleasure. It fascinates me, seeing new places, people, cultures and it also an escapade away from reality. I also believe it helps nurture relationships, quality time with each other and the chance of leaving with great memories.

PLAN
Well, once you decide on the location, read up about the place, accommodation, transportation, food, people, sightseeing etc. It will help establish the backbone of your holiday.

PACK
Please, bring only what you NEED and not what you want when you travel, in other words, please don’t drag your house with you. Importante - travel documents and digital camera!

PREPARE
When you leave, ensure your home is secured, inform your neighbours or your security if you’re living in a condominium. I read the Star the other day that you could also inform the police of your travel (make sure you’re not on the wanted list for not paying a parking summon first!).

There, you’re all set to have fun! I will be gallivanting over to Siem Reap with Mel in March. I can hardly wait.
