I checked out the album, mainly for the collaborations on MJ’s legendary tunes. Fergie, Kanye West, Will.I.Am and Akon are all featured in a handful of updated MJ tunes. THRILLER, till date, is the BIGGEST selling album of all time. This was Michael Jackson at his best. No one else came close to his legendary status.
Beat It, Thriller, Billie Jean were good enough to squash everything else in that era. There was a new unreleased demo from the album, “For All Time”, but thank God it didn’t make the original album, because the song was pathetic.
This tune, given the Akon treatment, is kind of cool, the build-up towards the chorus is awesome. It is catchy and deftly modernized. Michael Jackson will always remain a GENIUS, and no other artist will EVER match his artistry.
Thank God I witnessed the MJ concert in Malaysia back in 1996. It is to date, the greatest showpiece I have ever seen.

Yea, i like this song too from his Thriller 25, also like the Kanye West-Billie Jean, mainly for the beat.

earl-ku Yeah, Akon does justice to this song, except the bridge, where his lyrics were really weak.
Moses Francis I’m OK with Billie Jean, just hated Kanye West for not using the original bassline, one of the main reasons why Billie Jean became a massive hit.
