The Countdown Has Begun : 2-Aug-08

The last one took place on a cruise ship with 44 pax. This time, it will take place on land, so, seasick is not an issue. Right now, the only confirmation is the date and the event – which a Saturday!
So, to all Sabahan bloggers, please help to spread the word around, and block that date. You may use the above banner to place it on your blog. We have given ample time so no excuse for not showing up! The target this time is a healthy 100 pax.
In the meantime, if you’re interested in joining the committee or to contribute in any way you can (we need sponsorships!), please contact the committee comprising of Jacq, Mel, Fara, Papa Joneh, Julian, Wei Chuen, Dinoza and myself.

Eh, how come I checked Facebook and it said that the event is cancelled?

Lorna No, it’s not canceled. My Facebook account has been disabled because I sent a couple of “encouragement” one-liners to the “maybe attending” list to get them to come. Facebook deemed that as spam and subsequently suspended my account. I’m writing to them to explain, hopefully when my account is re-activated, the event comes back up.
