Still, even compensating for the sound change, I think Bon Jovi wrote better songs in the 80s. Keep The Faith, Bed Of Roses, I'll Sleep When I'm Dead etc never could reach the dizzying heights sky-scraped by Livin' On A Prayer, Never Say Goodbye, Bad Medicine, I'll Be There For You or even... Silent Night (off 7800 Fahrenheit). I think most (not all needed to, but some who didnt were wiped out) ppl had to change their sound after the grunge revolution.
