This band sounds similar to Nickelback. They’re a mix between Hinder, Breaking Benjamin and Nickelback. Their latest album, “Scars & Souvenirs” is decent, but nothing memorable. The best track on the album, nothing great though, but still OK – “Not Meant to Be”.
The tracks transmutates from relationship meltdown to sadness . The problem with this album is, the songs have similar sounds to each other, it’s like one non-stop track. Nevertheless, it’s more successful than their last album, but still a long way to go before they’re worthy of my support.
OK tracks – “Got It Made” , “Not Meant To Be”, “Bad Girlfriend”. 4/10 on the Gallivanter Scale.
Theory of a Deadman – Not Meant to Be
It’s like one step forward and two steps back
No matter what I do you’re always mad
And I, I can’t change your mind
I know it’s like trying to turn away one way street
I can’t give you what you want
And it’s killing me
And I, I’m starting to see
Maybe we’re not meant to be

This sounds to me like it could almost be a country rock group. I had never heard their music before your mentioning though, so perhaps the rest of the music better defines them….

Monique Country rock? Which part? Not noisy enough for ya?

No, it is plenty noisy for me…. I actually enjoyed it and have since downloaded a few of their songs.
Just an observation. There is nice music out there in the genre of country rock. I prefer it harder than that, but my tastes are all over the place enough to appreciate it once in awhile…

Monique Cool. I agree, lately, I have a tendency to embrace country rock music more than I did before. The process of aging perhaps.
