The Definition of LOVE
SharePosted on 11. Jun, 2008 by Gallivanter in Thoughts
What is LOVE? It’s a perception of human emotions that inflame the sense of affection and sexual attraction. What is LOVE to you could take on a different meaning to another person. It is diverse that it is difficult to define.
Each person has different perception of LOVE, their own definitions, from passionate desire to intimacy, hence, they show LOVE differently too. If you think LOVE is a fairytale ending, being driven into the sunset like a perfect ending, don’t expect your other half to feel that way too. LOVE can be a form of security and comfort for the other, with no happy endings, but simply just enjoying the journey.
So, when a person says “I Love You” to you, don’t over analyze and compare your levels of love, as to each their own. Your expectations of LOVE is different.
Ultimately, it’s LOVE.

Good post. To me, love is unconditional. Love is the most powerful emotion and can conquer any obstacles. And deep inside every one of us, there is this abundance of love waiting to flow out and touch everyone, whether we realise it or not.

Saying “I Love You” and showing how much you love that person are two different things altogether. Most often we confuse saying with showing. The question is, which speaks louder? Actions or words?
