It was something different for Mel & I to witness – Asians competing in an event for Asian ice skaters. Skate Asia was apparently first help way back in 1989 in Hong Kong, and then was not held until 10 years later at Sunway Pyramid Ice for 2 years in a row.
Shortly after buying our movie tickets for WALL-E, we went to the ice-skating rink @ Pyramid Ice, to witness the show. We caught the end of a performance that was themed based on Michael Jackson’s Thriller. BUT, before you go WOW, it wasn’t anything memorable. Just a couple of ladies trying to dance like MJ, or basically, trying to dance.
We saw several children’s ice skating performance, and there were very young ones showing off, as young as 3 years! Yikes! Even a 3 year old can skate, unlike yours truly, who simply can’t stand on my feet for a few seconds. I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

BossCat – There was, but I’m guessing it’s because it wasn’t publicized.
