Def Leppard – Let’s Get Rocked

“Let’s Get Rocked” is a 1992 rocking single by a rock band that I used to love before the millennium. They have not been up to the standards since then, although, their latest effort, Songs from the Sparkle Lounge, is quite close to their best.
Joe Elliott, the lead singer, says that this song is about Bart Simpson disobeying his parents as always. The title does sound like a euphemism for “Let’s get fucker”, as hinted somewhere in the song, “Let’s get the rock out of here”. During their live performances, Elliott has been noted to change the line, “Suppose a rock’s out of the question” to “suppose a blowjob’s out of the question”.
Whatever it is, this is a lighthearted good ol’ rock and roll song.

I remember the very first time this song was released, loved it!
Adrenalize is a great album, at an incredible production standard, so much so that at least one bandmember could not tahan anymore being trapped in the studio for months.
