This one is awesome… I’m sure buyers are either a) disappointed and a little relieved (assuming they don’t read the summary) or b) grannies.

The “Bombproof Your Horse” book actually isn’t insane at all, considering “bombproof” in the horse world just means unfazed and unafraid.

“How to shit in the woods” is actually a great book about a subject
that few people know enough about. Because more people don’t know they should get away from water and bury their shit, I’ve heard that
95% of groundwater is now infested with Giardia…

Anyhow, the book really does teach you what you need to know about
    shitting in the woods!

My girlfriend used to own the “Lesbian Hair Book”; it’s a book of (among other things) long, tongue-in-cheek discussions of

And “How To Shit in the Woods” is in your friendly outdoors store, and is a best-seller for hikers and campers. (It’s heavy on the techniques for digging appropriate distances from streams, ensuring biodegrading when on a mmountain, and so on…)

I used to own it years ago!! I think it was only printed in Australia and rightly so, it was a truly bad read that even my 15 year old mind could not find any sympathy for.

“Circumcisions By Appointment – Life In Eightteenth Century Manchester” is a title that could have been in a Monty Python’s sketch. Read by Eric Idle.

  29. Sarah

    Oct 25th, 2008

The title, “Bombproof Your Horse” is actually a very common phrase in the equestrian world. It means simply that your horse won’t spook at anything, ever. If you ‘bombproof’ your horse it won’t spook -so the phrase goes-even if a bomb goes off next to it.
