3 Types/Phases of Relationships – Emotional, Sexual & Financial

No doubt about it, there are 3 types of relationships. Do you know which one are you in? Sometimes, it even propels from one phase to another. Recently, more women begin with financial and then move on to emotional. The days of sexually charged relationships are numbered, and we’ll all end up like the Singaporeans – that is so wrong in so many ways.
If you are in a relationship with a person, it will be for at least one of these three reasons. The problems come when the two parties have different relationship motivations. She may be in a relationship with you to pay her bills, make up kits and to support her, and you might be in it for the sex, sex and sex. Ideally, it’s good to have both of you on the same page, on all 3 phases. If there is inadequacy in any, the relationship will wither away like a penis trying to hide itself in the cold.
So, especially for the women, when you start going steady with us, first, be true with yourself about what your intention is. Do not rationalize your agenda by getting into a superficial relationship with the person and bamboozling yourself into believing that you can learn to love other qualities about the person. You must also figure out what the other person’s true motivation is too. Don’t leave it up to them to tell you. Ask. If the person lies and don’t tell you about their intentions, then, that tells you a lot about the relationship, doesn’t it? Might as well start humping banana trees.

let me summarize what I have from this article..
the three types of relationships are:
- financially based relationship
- emotionally based relationship
- sexually based relationship
is that correct ?

Basically, my theory is a refinement of the one here. My understanding of the whole matter is that a relationship requires 3 kinds of security.
1. Emotional
2. Physical
3. Financial
From my perspective at least, where your mental age and experiences determine the kind of security you’re more after. Younger girls prefer physical security first. As you get older, your priorities change and they shift between the needs of financial and emotional security.
Getting to a woman requires you to know what kind of security they want and providing it, then later on balancing it all out because they also need the other forms of security as well to keep the relationship (if you want to pursue it further that is). It’s worked for me always, even in reverse (breaking up with someone by not providing them with the security they desire most).

xin – It depends actually, I think it’s more related to phases, where one becomes more focused than the other two.

chrisau – LOL. Well, not all the time, we might start with sexual relationship, because of the initial physical attraction stage, and then move on to the other phase, and then come back to the sexual relationship stage – full circle. LOL.
