kudos to you for actually putting this up. 98% of the internet is nothing but social networking debris. Only 2% of it is real content. I have Facebook, but I don't even bother going on it unless my classmates post pictures of class activities in that Facebook group they've got. Aj – Yes, most FB applications are for the lame who do not have a social life outside vampires and other bullshit.

|1f34|-|1r3 – Applications are rubbish. Now, whenever I get a useless application, I almost always ignore all invites from that friend. Easier.

cdason – Well, I disagree, the good thing about FB is to build on your social network, and especially getting in touch with long lost friends like I did. There’s still magic!

xin – I’m open to friendship requests, like I said, purely for the blog awareness aspect!

tihtahpah – Yeah, rubbish apps. I think the better apps are the ones that show your characters and personality, and what others perceive you, and not racing some f**ked up characters amongst “friends”.

ro9do – Every minute? Don’t they have TWITTER for that? But yes, those stupid updates are just that, stupid.

Nick Phillips – Stay away from the madness!

sheela – Well, you can manage it better by totally limiting your profile, to only friends. Having said that, there is no guarantee that your friends will bombard you with useless applications!

Julian – Jules, I was a boss too you know so I’m sharing my experience on how dumb some people can be. As for the good guy part, I adapt to the environment. Hope to see more of your comments in the future!

Faiez – You didn’t just leave a status update that could end the world as we know it, did you?

Diarmuid – True, the novelty wore off really quickly, simply because the applications are 100% rubbish.

IRTeA – LOL! I bet you are guilty of all of the above, especially those shitty applications, hence your abhorrence for this post. Predictable.

I created an account there two months ago, and while its nice to have, there are a lot of stupid pointless applications on it that drive me around the twist. It was fun at first, but the novelty is wearing off, and as you rightly say, many of those crappy applications such as nudge, kiss, send a present, etc are not doing it any favours whatsoever.

When it comes to the Internet, keep it simple.
