Dan Brown’s Upcoming Novel Launching in September 2009 – OLE!

“Angels & Demons” is my favorite fiction book to date – except the part where the lead role conveniently jumps off a helicopter without a parachute and glides all the way down with some cloth (I forgot what he used). I enjoyed “Da Vinci Code” but “Angels & Demons” is a better book in terms of pace.
Since then, I’ve been regularly checking his official website for his next fiction. FINALLY – he’ll be releasing his next novel this September!! OLE! By the way, Tom Hanks is a RUBBISH actor these days and such a mismatch for the movie adaptation!
THE LOST SYMBOL
It will feature Robert Langdon again, and it is to be called The Lost Symbol. Rumor has it that it’s about a mysterious cult that’s super into obscure symbols. This book’s narrative takes place in a twelve-hour period.
I really do hope the wait would be worth it. Never have I ever anticipated the launch of a new fictional novel! So this is my first!
If you haven’t read his books, I strongly suggest that you do.

Yes A&D is da best.
It was a mistake asking Tom Hanks to be Robert Langdon. He’s my fav but he’s not good enough enough for Langdon.
Eagerly waiting The Lost Symbol.

I hv to agree wth U tht Angels & Demons is better thn DVC…Truth to b told, I was a bit scared while reading A&D

can’t wait for the book! A&D The Movie is showing soon as well but we all know it will not do the book any justice.. just like what they did for Da vinci code..but im still gonna watch it

Dan Brown happens to be one of my favourite authors. I’ve read all his books and am anxiously waiting for the new one
And yes, Tom Hanks is not the right actor to be cast as Robert Langdon.

laeticia – It won’t do the book justice of course. Because when we read books, it’s our OWN imagination at work, and for movies, it’s based on the director’s view. I’m a HUGE Dan Brown fan.

cool…my first book by Dan Brown was A&D and got hooked on him ever since (even before DVC-movie came out). been waiting for the next movie and definitely his next book!

I agree with you that Robert Langdon just simply jumps off the helicopter and land(or it there any other proper word) in the water is a little bit too convenient and without any brutal injuries.
