Do You Have Floaters in Your Eyes Like Me?
SharePosted on 01. Sep, 2009 by Gallivanter in Life
Before you start thinking about floaters the wrong way, I’m talking about the floaters in our eyes, that distracts our vision.

That is what I’m talking about. Do you see what I see on a daily basis? Do not worry, you’re as normal as many of us are. This is a result of damages suffered by the eyes that causes materials to enter the colorless transparent jelly in your eyes.
I do. Do you?

Dude!! I’ve always wondered what the Hell that virus looking shit was. Never even bothered asking anyone cause’ i thought it was just me and my messed up imagination.
So it’s normal then! Awesome!
And now I know what they’re called.
It’s nothing serious though, right?

me too, tat’s quite benign. But once your myopia is getting worse,it’s advisable to consult your ophthalmologist, cz with the thinning of your retina, the floaters might cz a tear to the retina and leading to retina detachment. Floaters are more like a nuisance to the patient’s life, some may get flasher when the condition gets worse.

Now that you mention, I do have but if you didn’t mention, I wouldn’t have noticed it! I think it’s quite normal, but if the floaters increase or disturb your vision, it’s better you have it checked at the eye specialist to rule out any eye problems : )

Yup I have it. I can see the floater especially when I look at bright spot. Been wondering whether it’s caused by viewing the monitor for a long period of time. Now I know it’s not!
