Gallivanter’s Top 75 Favorite Songs of 2009

This is my 4th annual edition of the best songs of the year, based solely on my personal preferences.
I started with 2006 where Hinder took pole with “Lips of an Angel”. In 2007, it was very Bon Jovi for me because of their strong Lost Highway album that made “The Last Night” the number one song for me with State of Shock’s “Money Honey” finishing second. 2008 ended with a first, and by that I mean the Top 4 songs were from the pop genre, with Pussycat Dolls’ “When I Grow Up” taking pole position.
OK, with the quality of music this year, I have decided to expand the list from a Top 30 to a Top 75, to give you a better idea of my tastes in music and what should’ve dominated the music charts instead. Of course, there’ll be a lot of Bon Jovi too this time, coinciding with their album release, “The Circle”.
