Timbaland Presents Shock Value 2 (Album Review)

I always rated Timbaland as a top producer who just simply can’t do no wrong. I put him on a pedestal, only for him to release a lackluster album that sounds like a collection of demo tracks, clearly nowhere near his best. What a bloody disappointment coming from a dude who has his fair share of contribution to the hip hop scene.
I wanted to add this album for my next review submission of Junk, a local Malaysian magazine that I now contribute, but after listening to this God-forsaken piece of disaster, I’ve decided to sit this one out. Timbaland, I can only hope that this is just a glitch in the Matrix, albeit a major one by your standards. This album is truly a shock value indeed – WTF!

So I guess its safe to say your not impressed? lol. I can feel where u comin from tho. Im a huge tim fan but these past two albums put together only shoved out about 4 or 5 good tracks. I need him to dig back into the days of “Tim’s Bio” and just keep the tracks and features consistent. Albeit there’s nothing wrong with diversity but it was overwhelming with all the features. Production was solid tho. As always.

tekkaus – Nope, just download my recommended mp3s at the end of my review.
Kenny – Yes, solid production, but just one cook too many with the artistes he roped in, and he tries to make it sound very commercial that the songs loses its mojo.
