Deep Purple will be returning to Malaysia at the Genting Arena of Stars of 16 May 2010 as part of their 2010 Tour. I know the last time they came down was during an F1 event back in 2001 then Shah Alam stadium in 1999.
Although I have a handful of songs that I like – Hush, Smoke on the Water, Perfect Strangers, Highway Star, Soldier of Fortune, I’m not sure if I’m keen enough to attend this concert though. I would love to see Deep Purple rock out to the songs above but I would not pay more than RM60 for it.

Funnily, Bo mentioned about this to me.. Hinting that he wants to go.. We may go to this one. Not really my taste but if it makes him happy.. kan?
They have been around so long man,,, the frontman is Ian Gillian,right? he should be in his mid-60s and still rocking, not much of a fan of DP,but the fact that they could stay this long proves that they are worthy.
I love some of Deep Purple song like Soldier of fortune.. they still look great
Wow. I attended the concert and it was spectacular. Very much enjoyed and rocked out to every song played. Fucking loved smoke on the water!! Phweet!
