Nick Carter – The Great Divide (Song Review)
Not bad although it could’ve been better in terms of catchiness. Still, it’ll please you Backstreet Boys fan as Nick showcases what the Backstreet Boys have been missing over the last couple of albums – some sense of maturity. However, I think there is still some distance for Nick to achieve a certain level of gravitas in his music.

I think the song would be MUCH better sung with acoustic instruments and less of that computerized annoying backbeat. The lyrics are very thoughful, quite nice since Nick cowrote this. This isn’t a “pop” song per se so it doesn’t have to be “catchy”.
