Somebody Save Me (Smallville)
Never have I been this hooked on a series before. No thanks to Superman. This addiction began in 2004 when I caught a glimpse of Smallville on ASTRO. After 2 episodes, I decided to buy the DVDs. So I watched Smallville 1 and 2 in the space of 5 days. It was sheer ebullience. I couldn’t stop. Months later, somewhere in November 04, came Season 3, which to me, was the BEST season in its existence. So much drama that is guaranteed to have you epoxied to your seat. Watched all 20+ episodes in 2 days.
After that, a huge gap of another several months, until September (or was it October) 2005, when Smallville 4 DVDs were out. It was kind of an anti-climax given how Season 3 panned out. Lois Lane was introduced, and Lana Lang continued to be infuriatingly needy. I’m beginning to detest her character. Fast forward to September 2006, after checking Amazon’s website for books, I stumbled on Smallville Season 5. Was as fast as a speeding bullet to the DVD store (PJ Section 14 Digital Mall). Amen for piracy!
Smallville Season 5 – 8/10
Unlike previously, I attempted to watch 2 episodes per day (ended Season 5 with 10 episodes on Saturday). It was extremely fantabulous! Smallville 6 is about to start airing in the US soon, so it’ll be another year before I get to watch Season 6, or I could download it via Torrent. I love SMALLVILLE, thanks to SUPERMAN. Apparently, there’s a new series that is making waves – PRISON BREAK. Currently downloading the first episode, and if I like it, will buy the DVDs.

Lex Sometimes I wish that Warner Bros had used the same cast for their SUPERMAN RETURNS movie. I heard they’re making the next SUPERMAN flick already, aptly titled – SUPERMAN RETURNS, WHY? That bloody gay director (Bryan Singer) needs to die a horrific death! Where’s a stingray when you need one? LOL

tihtahpah Well, 24 never really caught my attention. LOST too, I found nothing great. Good thing we have multitude of series to suit different tastes.
Finally another Smallville fan. It is an awesome series and love where it goes. Agree about Lana being way too needy and annoys me more than Chloe thesedays!!

ooh i loved smallville but the last season i watched was season 3. i haven’t really been up to date with what’s happened since then. i’m a big clark&lana fan, my best friend is rooting for clark & chloe to eventually get together (boo!)
I dont watch the series coz I don’t quite like Tom Welling lol. And Superman was never a favourite of mine anyway.
Mr D Need not worry about her, my guess is it won’t be long before she and Lionel Luthor dies. It was never part of the original story. Can’t get Season 6 here, so might just do the Singaporean thing and download the movie (viva la piracy!). LOL!

Lex I think he screwed up X-Men too, but I don’t care. Just extremely disappointed how gay that Superman movie was. *SIGH*
Di You gotta watch Season 4 and Season 5. To me, Season 5′s the bomb. Exactly what the tagline said, “Everything you’ve wanted to see, will happen..”. Dying to share some spoilers, but shall not. Clark & Chloe? Man, that’ll be such an anti-climax! Lois Lane’s already in, and her character’s so refreshing.
Sha Trust me on this. The story’s not only about super-powers and testosterone. It’s worth the time, unlike the oh-so-boring Alias.

cely I was just telling your other half today. I bought Season 1 DVD yesterday and watched the first 4 episodes. Prison Break is SUPERB!
no worries man! haha wait till u finish watching it, go for PB 2! it gets better. the episodes in Season 2 has Holly Valance, but not for long i think. why dun u download and burn to dvd? then u can watch it on ur 42′ plasma. hehe. wud u mind if i do a link exchange wif u?

Hey man, actually just sumbled upon your blog. It’s a great read, you’re alot like me(or so I’d like to think). I love Smallville by the way. Absolutely love it. Am planning to head to KL in december to get Smallville Season 5. Got season 4 last November when I was there. And had actually downloaded seasons 1 through 3.
